Why Do I Need a Blog?
Why do I need a blog? I have asked that question for the past nine years. It was not until recently, that I saw the true value in owning one. There are three major factors as to, why it is vital to have a blog.
#1 The #1 purpose of a blog is for your readers to get to know, like and trust you. Blogs help build relationships with your readers. Once the relationship building process begins, your readers are more than likely going to return and feel comfortable interacting with you. No longer are you a stranger to them. Therefore you can freely make suggestions and give advice.
#2 Blogs are similar to a journal. The only difference is that you are not required to pay for the information. A story that adds value is written about a particular topic. Afterward, it is read by people who are interested in what you are talking about. Hopefully, you have written a good enough story for them to make comments on. People are more than likely willing to purchase from someone that they know, like and trust.
#3 Blog rank higher than a regular website , as long as you provide rich content as well as interaction. Comments make your blog SEO friendly. As a result, you can move toward the #1 position on Google. The ultimate goal is to write a story that ads value and is interesting enough for your readers to come back for more. Hopefully they will make comments on your post.
