How Can I Use Twitter To Build My Business?

I am asked this question often. “How can I use twitter to build my business?” I am going to give you a short simple post on how to use twitter to build any business.

#1 If you are working with a network marketing co., start up a twitter account using your personal name. By doing so, you are branding you. If you have your own business, than I recommend starting an account with your business name.

#2 Be sure to give yourself a interesting bio., someone that is going places, doing thing and can add value to your followers.

#3 Before adding followers, tweet at least 5 post. Be sure to give value in each one of these post. Tweets can be information, coupons or promoting someone else product or service.

#4 Now it’s time to build up your followers, you will want to go out and find people who can use your products or services. There are two simple ways I suggest that you do this. 1. Example: If you are in the beauty business, go to your competitors and follow the people that are following them. 2.Or you can go to http://www.searchtwitter.com and search for people that are searching for what you have by using keywords that relate to your business.

#5 When using the @ sign Ex: @rachalek, you are replying to that person directly, but your followers can also see what you are tweeting about. If you want to send a direct message and keep it private then you will want to use the symbols d_ Ex:d_rachalek. When you see RT, that means someone liked what you tweeted and in return shared it with the people that are following them. The more valuable your info, more than likely, people will re-tweet the information you shared.

#6 If you have some really good information and you think it will add value to others, you can ask your followers to RT it for you.

The information above should get you started and well on your way. The only other activity I would suggest, would be to build relationships with your followers. The more they know, like and trust you, more than likely they will buy from you.

Should I Follow People On Twitter Who Follow Me

Should I follow people on twitter who follow me? Is a question that I have been asked quite a bit lately? People will follow you for several reasons on twitter.

The first reason is because they know you and want to keep up with what you are doing. The second, is that they are associated with someone that you know. The third reason is because you work in a similar industry and they want to connect or learn from you. The fourth is that they have used an auto follow program and are just trying to gain as many followers as possible.

There are many people that join twitter and don’t realize that someone is following them and they have not
reciprocated and followed them back. If you don’t follow them back, their are some people that will think you do not want to be bothered and eventually unfollow you.

To follow or not follow someone is totally up to you. But do keep in mind, that there are many people out there that want to connect with you, but don’t want to broadcast their conversation to the world. They are limited when you don’t follow them back. They cannot send you a private message or the word twitter uses is they can not send you a direct message.

If you want to connect with the people you are following, don’t forget to check and see if you are following them.

Is it possible to find peace in the mist of pain

I am writing to discuss is it possible to find peace in the mist of pain? Because of my daily scripture reading {“Seek peace, and pursue it.” ~Proverbs 34:14} I was inspired to write a post on this particular subject. Recently, one of my family members was assaulted by more than one person. It is not until, you go through something like this, that you understand the pain that is felt. I had many different emotions going on at one time. There was apart of me that wanted revenge, and the other part of me wanted to know, what made these young people do something so bad to someone who was minding their own business.

As a mother I felt my pain, my child’s pain, as well as the pain of their parents. As far as I know, they could have had parents that did all of the right things, but the children still made their own choices.

I have found peace in the mist of the storm. I have decided that this is not my battle, it is the Lord’s. And that God will take care of the situation. He always has and always will.

Today, I found peace in this situation and pray that the young people will give their life to the Lord. The Bible says to pursue peace, I will do that by constantly praying for them that they will turn their lives around and make a difference in the world we live.

If God forgave me, who am I not to forgive them. We hold up our blessings when we refuse to seek peace towards those who hurt us.

There are three critical steps to making money online. In order to make money with a online business there are three critical steps that one must do. They are the same steps that an offline business requires.

First, a online business must be treated like a business. Working from home has so many distractions. You must look at your schedule and decide on how much time do you have to devote to your online business. Regardless, if it is 30 min. or 5 hours a day, you must plug it into your schedule and be committed to working it everyday.

Also, you must set aside a budget in order to promote your business. There are so many people who get online wanting to make money without spending any money. To be honest with you, it is possible but very difficult to do. If someone tells you, you can start an business online without money, they are telling you part truth.

Don’t forget about how important it is to avoid negative people, they can suck all of the positive energy out of you. Surround yourself with successful people, that are going some where in life. Read motivational books and connect with people who are doing the same thing as you, facing the same challenges as you also. But they are determined to make it to the top. Make sure you attend weekly trainings, they will help you stay on top of the internet and how rapidly it is changing.

The second step is to stay focused. You will be introduced to many programs while on the internet. If you are a newbie with limited funds look for free training, youtube is an excellent place to go for help or a system that provides free training like The New Rich Report After you have some training under your belt and feel comfortable, step out and spend some money if you feel the need to get advanced training. I recommend spending most of your money on tools and outsourcing. Having an internet business requires quite a bit of work and it is difficult to manage all by yourself, especially if you want to see results fast.

Last, but not least don’t quit. Starting a business is not a easy job and being on the internet is very competitive. But if you can continue to repeatedly focus on income producing activities, you will reach your goal and be glad you did not quit. Remember “A quitter never wins and a winner never quits.”

How to Set Up a Blog

Before setting up a blog, you must do some research on the niche market that you want to target. For example, I wanted to set up a personal blog on how to be a mom of a special needs child, have a balanced life and help my husband bring extra money into our home. I desired to share with other moms on how vitally important it is to be spiritually, emotionally, physically, financially and personally balanced in the mist of all that goes on in our lives.

After deciding on my niche, the next step would be to come to a conclusion on how I was going to host my blog. If I should use a free blog and the company will host it for me or If I should pay and have total control of my blog. At first, I tried the free approach, but was always afraid of getting a Google slap. Recently, I switched over to a paid blog because I did not like the idea of someone not liking what I said or did and then shutting me down.

There are several free places that you can use for your blog: blogger.com, blogspot.com, wordpress.com,
livejournal.com just to name a few. If you would rather use a paid service than I would recommend wordpress.org

After deciding where you want to set up your blog, go to the website and follow the directions on how to set up a blog. The free blog sites ones do not require you to download anything onto your computer. You will pick a theme and then fill in the blanks. If you are going to use wordpress.org, you will need to decide on what company will you have host your blog, presently I use GVO. After deciding on the hosting co. you will need to download the wordpress software onto your computer. Also you will need a FTP in order to upload the downloaded software to your hosting company.

Follow Your Dreams

As a little girl, my heart would say “follow your dreams.” I had so many dreams to follow, but just as many disappointments. I often wondered how different life would have been, if I was not raised in a foster home. Don’t get me wrong, there was nothing wrong with the foster home, it just was not my home. It was not, until that magical day when my mother arrived and said “she was taking my siblings and I home.”

I learned that home is not necessarily where your parents are, but where your heart is. Being at home with my parents did not change the condition of my heart, it only changed my residence. I found safety, security and love in both places most of the time. But I was still a prisoner of my own mind. One of the first principles I learned, in order to escape from being a prisoner of my mind was to “let go and let God”

Once I lined up my thinking with God’s word, everything began to change for me. No longer did my struggles in life, hold me back from who God destines for me to be. I am reaching higher heights every day. Giving God the glory every step of the way. I have found as long as I keep my eyes on Jesus there is nothing to impossible for Him to do.

I have a special needs son that has Down Syndrome, before he was born I had great dreams and aspirations that I had planned to achieve. After his birth I laid my dream down. To God be the glory, I am moving forward with a special needs child. I have learned, if you want something bad enough there is nothing that can stop you from getting it.

So don’t allow life’s situations stop you from following your dreams, if I did it, so can you. “You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you”

Sick Of The Old Skool Way of Network Marketing.

Did your upline tell you to build your network marketing business the old skool way? Did they tell you to make a list of 50 people that you know, hang fliers, talk to people in the supermarket, purchase leads, hold meetings, etc.

When you joined your network marketing company, did you have any idea that you where going to be instructed to use these techniques? Techniques that, literally drives a wedge between you, your family and friends.

One of the very first marketing strategy you were told to use was get a pen, piece of paper and write down the names of all the people you know. The first thought that came to your mind was probably, I don’t know that many people? But because you are determined to succeed, you did as you were told. Afterward, you call everyone up and invited them over to introduce them to your great opportunity or party. A few of your friends show up because they want to support you. But truthfully, they are not interested in network marketing. They are there because of you.

After all of the no shows, all of the rejection you are now ready to quit!! All of a sudden you remember what your friends told you “network marketing does not work”! Your upline says to you, revisit your why! Your belief in the company, product and yourself is beyond expectation. What do they mean revisit your why, you ask? Your “why” is very evident but your “how” is unclear. You are in a very difficult situation, because you don’t know how to attract people to your business opportunity.

My desire would be for you to be able to drive traffic to a generic site that would allow visitors to sign up for your generic marketing system that provides multiple streams of income and then convert them into your primary business.

What if this marketing system did not require you to purchase it? Would that get your attention? It got my attention. Your ultimate goal is to be able to duplicate what you do. To have a generic marketing system, that you could customize. Plus it would not interfere with you making money in your primary business. Are you looking for something that will captivate and provide value to the people you want to help?

If you are facing frustration with generating leads, this marketing system may be what you have been looking for.
I have had one of the best systems out there, it’s just that it was not affordable for my downline. Therefore I decided to pursue a system that could provide them with what they needed.

My ultimate goal is to be able to help people make money online, without them spending their life savings. Therefore, they can get started, learn and earn. I desire to attract people that have a desire to help others. Most importantly, the system is F R E E check it out for yourself.
